My Journey Through ICT: The Basics of HTML

In my journey through ICT for the 2nd quarter, we tackle on the HTML coding. HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the basic scripting language of used web browsers to render pages on the World Wide Web. In addition to this, in the past two months of attending our ICT class and even if there are so many class disruptions, I have discovered how HTML coding language invented and how to make an html file. I have also learned and discovered the basics of the HTML coding language.

At the very beginning of our 2nd quarter, I learned the fundamental tags to be used in order to make a HTML file. The html tag, head tag, title tag, and body tag are the tags that I learned first. As time went on, I learned a lot on how to code using HTML. I can now format the text using the formatting tags. I can also change the background color of my body and add image as a background for my html file. I discovered how to add hyperlinks to my html files. I also learned how to make tables and frames. Additionally, I have learned the body, font, image, table and frame attributes along with their values.

Along side with the learnings that I have gained , I also encountered problems in coding. Examples of problems that I have encountered was my lack of knowledge on using the right tags for my html files. I have also a problem about making making my code works and identifying the errors. If there is a problem, there will always a solution. So, I address the first problem that I have encountered by practicing by listening to our teacher and watching tutorials. While in the second problem, I address it being observant to find my errors to correct it.

Moving on, I will make sure to gained more learnings and discoveries about HTML and by the end of the school year, I hope that I can make my own web page.

Simple Actions, Green Reactions

Caring and protecting for the environment is a responsibility we all share. Simple everyday actions such as cleaning, planting, waste segregation, and recycling contribute significantly in our environment. These practices ensure a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for generations to come. We can practice proper waste management by picking up trash from our surroundings like shown in the picture. Collecting trash can prevent harmful materials from polluting the environment. Keeping our spaces clean reduces the risk of environmental problems and promotes a healthier ecosystem. Regularly cleaning areas is important for maintaining a clean environment as well as participating in community clean-up drive programs. Sweeping and collecting waste ensures that harmful debris does not pollute our surrounding. Clean surroundings are also more pleasant for both people and animals. Planting trees is also one of the most impactful ways to protect the environment. Trees absorb carbon diox...

My Journey Through ICT: Level Up

In my journey through ICT for the 3rd quarter, I have learned a lot in making our Community Based Research (CBR) and making our own Web design. I learned that working with a community and the utilization of participatory research method can be a crucial way in order to collect important information. Aside from that, I can also think of recommendations to solve the problems that the community faces.  Working on the Web design was also a great experience that gives me the opportunity to learn more about coding with HTML. In addition to this, it also introduces me to learn about Cascading Style Sheet (CSS). Learning this coding language helps me to design and style a HTML document. In this quarter, I also learned how important is to work together as a team in a group project.  During the quarter, I didn't encounter any problems in ICT. The lessons were clear and manageable. I was able to complete tasks without difficulty and even enjoyed exploring new making our CBR and Web desig...
