My Journey Through ICT: The Basics of HTML

In my journey through ICT for the 2nd quarter, we tackle on the HTML coding. HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the basic scripting language of used web browsers to render pages on the World Wide Web. In addition to this, in the past two months of attending our ICT class and even if there are so many class disruptions, I have discovered how HTML coding language invented and how to make an html file. I have also learned and discovered the basics of the HTML coding language.

At the very beginning of our 2nd quarter, I learned the fundamental tags to be used in order to make a HTML file. The html tag, head tag, title tag, and body tag are the tags that I learned first. As time went on, I learned a lot on how to code using HTML. I can now format the text using the formatting tags. I can also change the background color of my body and add image as a background for my html file. I discovered how to add hyperlinks to my html files. I also learned how to make tables and frames. Additionally, I have learned the body, font, image, table and frame attributes along with their values.

Along side with the learnings that I have gained , I also encountered problems in coding. Examples of problems that I have encountered was my lack of knowledge on using the right tags for my html files. I have also a problem about making making my code works and identifying the errors. If there is a problem, there will always a solution. So, I address the first problem that I have encountered by practicing by listening to our teacher and watching tutorials. While in the second problem, I address it being observant to find my errors to correct it.

Moving on, I will make sure to gained more learnings and discoveries about HTML and by the end of the school year, I hope that I can make my own web page.

Fireworks Went Up, a Boy Went Down

As the new year starts, a child was born and his parents named him Jansen Harvey Reyes. That was me. I am now 15 years old. I live with my family at Pantay Laud, Vigan City. My father’s name is Richard Reyes. My mother’s name is Diana Reyes. I also have a younger sister named Jarina Chloe Reyes. And I am here to talk more about myself and share my future plans in my life. I see myself as a person with an artistic soul and creative mind. I am enthusiastic about art related stuff because of my talent, drawing and sketching. I also see myself as a competitive person in a sense that I always compete in art competitions. Those competitions that I’ve joined help me improve or hone my artistic skills. Now that I am 15 years old, I am exploring more about my talent and skills. Besides drawing in the traditional way, I am trying to draw digitally. The reason is that I want to know more about art and be more versatile in it. Additionally, I believe that “talent is a pursued interest...
