My Journey Through ICT

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) was a comprehensive and innovative subject. It teaches students about the broad range of technological topics like in communication and data processing. However, in the past two months attending our ICT class, I have learned and discovered new things about this subject. I have discovered the timeline or the creation of the Internet, together with the people who contributed in revolutionizing the Internet. I have also learned how the Internet works. Additionally, I also discovered what a Blog is and learned how to make one. Along side with the learnings that I have gained , I also encountered problems in the subject. Examples of problems that I have encountered was my lack of knowledge on manipulating the computers in the lab and to make my own blog posts. I have also a problem about making the contents of my blog posts. If there is a problem, there will always a solution. So, I address the first proble...

Simple Actions, Green Reactions

Caring and protecting for the environment is a responsibility we all share. Simple everyday actions such as cleaning, planting, waste segregation, and recycling contribute significantly in our environment. Keeping our spaces clean reduces the risk of environmental problems and promotes a healthier ecosystem. Regularly cleaning areas is important for maintaining a clean environment as well as participating in community clean-up drive programs. Sweeping and collecting waste ensures that harmful debris does not pollute our surrounding. Clean surroundings are also more pleasant for both people and animals. Planting trees is also one of the most impactful ways to protect the environment. Trees absorb carbon diox...

Fireworks Went Up, a Boy Went Down

As the new year starts, a child was born and his parents named him Jansen Harvey Reyes. That was me. I am now 15 years old. I live with my family at Pantay Laud, Vigan City. My father’s name is Richard Reyes. My mother’s name is Diana Reyes. I also have a younger sister named Jarina Chloe Reyes. And I am here to talk more about myself and share my future plans in my life. I see myself as a person with an artistic soul and creative mind. I am enthusiastic about art related stuff because of my talent, drawing and sketching. I also see myself as a competitive person in a sense that I always compete in art competitions. Those competitions that I’ve joined help me improve or hone my artistic skills. Now that I am 15 years old, I am exploring more about my talent and skills. Besides drawing in the traditional way, I am trying to draw digitally. The reason is that I want to know more about art and be more versatile in it. Additionally, I believe that “talent is a pursued interest...
