Vigan City, known for its rich history and cultural heritage, has been transformed greatly over the time. From being a municipality to a city, it continues to allure both locals and tourists.

Vigan before was a municipality known for its well-preserved Spanish architecture, like the famous cobble streets and ancestral houses. The life of biguenos was simpler, and its economy was largely dependent on agriculture and small businesses. On September 7, 2001, under Republic Act No. 8988. This date marked its growth in populations, infrastructures, and governance. This event builds way for modern development. Today, Vigan is a thriving city. Its historic spot like Calle Crisologo became more iconic. In addition to this, the city became a top tourist destination in the Philippines because it blends modern vibe with well-preserved heritage.

In conclusion, Vigan became a lively city from a quiet municipality. It has how shown how tradition and progress an coexist. It stands as a proud symbol of Filipino culture and traditions.

As the new year starts, a child was born and his parents named him Jansen Harvey Reyes. That was me. I am now 15 years old. I live with my family at Pantay Laud, Vigan City.
